Great composition and color. The only thing that could make it better would be focus on the head. But I like it a lot.


Gear: Powershot S3, Raynox DCR-250 macro, Raynox DCR-2020PRO tele, CHDK for RAW-output, cardboard, paper, aluminum foil, tape, glue, an icecream pack and a little imagination :)

Agree about the focus. Love the subject though. We don't often see this type of butterfly up close and personal. Nice.

Second brood individuals are just about emerging now but I have seen very few so far. I hope the wet summer hasn't knocked them back. Nice capture Ray.
