This is going to get some taking used to BUT I CANOT PUT IT DOWN!!:D:D

This is a 1 cm long spider at 5X magnification(no flash, 30 sec exposure) an a fly(dead)

iv taken a few also with the on camera flash at iso 200 shutter 200 and f14 but am getting a flash in 12 days for my birthday

No doubt will have a few posts now:D

Very cool! I've got the lens on my shopping list but it will be a little bit before I can break down and buy it. Looks like you can get some great shots with it. Look forward to seeing more.

bout 3-4cm i guess lol the worst things wen they move in the viewfinder(ie the spider) lol

congrats, be great when you get your flash; on board flash is ok at 1:1 but wont reach over lens at higher mag.

haha i dont think il be giving up macro any time soon:D and yea once you get to about 1.5:1 the lens causes a shadow from the onboard flash

Nice first attempts. Had to smile at the dead fly. We'd never have guessed. ;)

I'd love an MP-E, but then again I also need a 70-200 f/2.8, a couple of teleconverters, a decent monopod, a new camera bag, some extension tubes...

Any clues as to the lottery numbers this week?

Haha if i new the lottery numbers thered be a new 500 f/4, 10-22mm, monopod some new memory ............... lol :D You can never have to much photo gear:confused:
