First attempt at a dew drop

I had 20 mins to try this before i had to leave for uni this morning and its ALOT HARDER THAN I THORT! trying to set the camera up un a tripod TRYING NOT TO GET IT WET and then trying to find a drop and get it in focus then place a flower behind it ARGHHHHHHHHHH not to mention i could only find a petal instead of a whole flower lol

owell heres the 1, thats right ONE shot i took

maybe some cropping should be done. but overall i think its pretty, and you did a great job for it being your first.
i like how you can see through it, and see the other flower in it.

Somebody has been looking at LordV's pictures. hehe. Nice job for the first attempt. I was planning on giving it a shot as well when I have time. Did you manual or autofocus?

haha yes he has inspired me. manual focus about 4x lifesize on MP-E65. next time i think ill try about 3x and a slightly bigger dew drop(that 1 was TINY)

I must add to that lordV must spend alot of time to make a good shot like that because i spent about 15 mins setting up for that 1 shot with 1 drop!!!! ITS HARD but worth it:D

yea its a good tutorial. i read it after i took this shot and so i will have to try again in the weekend. hopefully i will be able to perfect it like he has soon:D
