The birth of our first child had all but halted my main hobby: urban candids.

Now that he's over a month old I've been able to get out again and shoot once in a great while.

Beau's lomo 2 action has really taken it's toll on me, I find myself shooting from the hip a LOT and just seeing what I captured when I get home.

Not true lomography, I'm looking for subjects and somewhat framing my shots but this is my version of it and I'm really having a great time with it :D

Here's a link to some of my earlier "work" ... http://ajarvis.zenfolio.com/p847713987/ (external link)

Only one new one to share right now, but more to come soon...thanks for looking....and I just can't end this without saying the xti and sigma 30f1/4 are just a blast to use....

I like it. The overexposed areas complement the dark tones. Really nice.

very nice:) It has that deep lomo contrast. Holgamods had a lomo/holga lens for Canon mounts.

that would be cool....i'll have to look into that.

i'm about to pick up a holga and some 120 b&w film from amazon.com just to have some fun. funny how my xti and sigma 30 cost over $1000 but now i'm looking to a $20 camera to get the kind of pictures i want lol....

thanks for looking and commenting :) ...i think i'll add a bit more vignetting next time. i like a decent amount in lomo/holga shots
