Hello.

I am new to these forums. I found out about this website through a google search. I am from New Zealand. And i participate in our photography section in gameplanet forums http://www.gpforums.co.nz/forum/7960/?s= (external link)

Im currently saving up for a Sigma 17-70mm lens. Thats how i got to this website. You have an excellent thread made on all of the lenses and links to samples :)

Anyways, i have only started to get seriously into photography this year. I am also motivated because my father is a photographer and our business is a photoshop :p. I purchased a Canon 300D for very cheap. I brought a 50mm 1.8 prime lens. As my first lens. Ive been taking some snap shots. My Deviant is:

This forum is quite overwhelming. It is much larger than my Gameplanet home so i really dont know where to start! .

Anyways, i hope i am welcome here :)

At University last week we studied a New Zealand director named Vincent Ward and he filmed "Virgil". He is an artist and is into expressionistic filming and art. I have been getting into this whole idea as well. Heres a photo i just took. And made it black and white with photoshop.

Just some guy who posts once in a while. :) sure I would hate to think what you would consider someone who posts on a regular basis
