My first decent photo from my first day shooting.

I got my Canon Pro1 today that I picked up on eBay. It's in MINT shape, and I'm really happy.

Anyway. Today was my first time shooting. I'm a complete newbie. I've had a Canon A60 point and shoot camera prior to this one, but this is my first stab at photography, something I've been wanting to try for a long time.

Now I've seen some of the pictures posted here, and they are amazing. But I still wanted to share mine because I'm happy with the way it turned out. It was really windy today and it was hard finding a split second when the flower wasn't moving, but still it isn't perfect. I'm sure I'll take better pictures as time goes by.

Welcome, Very nice picture! Photography sure is fun isnt it? Keep at it and keep posting photos.

It's fun that's for sure, especially macro photography! My grandmother was a professional photographer, and my dad is into photography, so I'm sure its somewhere in my genes to have a liking towards photography.

One thing I learned is that you need patience. It takes time to get that nice photo. At least now with digital cameras you don't have to waist a bunch of rolls of film to get it.

I look forwards to learning and taking better and better pictures.
