All I can say is that it's an excellent series! I know how difficult to catch these guys. Your mission now is to get a head shot of that prey ;) Great work :)

The first one was about 2mm a giant :-) and the other 2 about 1mm ish

Can I ask a dumb question from a macro noob? Did you use tubes for that? The EXIF data shows focal length 300mm. Was that the Sigma 70-300 DG APO Macro listed in your gear list? I'm amazed by those shots and how big they are in image.

Thanks Troy, The lens was the 70-300 with a full set of kenko tubes and the Raynox 250. DOF using this setup was very shallow. It gives me just over 5.6:1

To the naked eye these were just specks and you wouldn't even know they were crawling on you, I think they look quite neat up close. :-)
