Hey, guys, I think I might have figured out what's wrong with my 1D2N as previously discussed here...

I need someone to look at the contacts in their camera body and let me know if all of them are protruding. On my 1D2N all but two of the contact points are protruding, while the other two are stuck in the "down" position. The two that aren't protruding are of the three that are positioned on the elevated platform in the body. I doubt this is normal. If not, that would probably explain why I can't shoot and keep getting the Err 01 message. TIA

They all are protruding on mine. I assume youre talking bout the contacts in the lens mount, correct?

Also Im sorry that you missed that photo op. It kills me whenever I miss one because I dont have a camera on me or for whatever other reason.

Mine protrude like a....well nevermind. They stick out. That's all you need to know.
