While it is a bit bigger, I prefer something like this. Much more comfortable for waiting long periods of time. Cheaper as well. http://www.cabelas.com …Ntx=matchall&N=4887&Nty=1 (external link)

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.

That one is OK--but I hunt too and am getting the top of the line in the Double Bull 360° blind. It costs $400.00 but is built much better than the Ameristep ones. However, it does weigh more and is much larger, and more rugged. I need the taller and bigger blind to shoot a stick bow. The neat thing about the Double Bull blind is that you have 360° screen as well as solid window cover and there is a large adjustment range in height and you also don't have to have it all open, and can open certain parts as much as you need, plus--NO noisy velcro or zippers on the windows!

Keep this in mind--deer do NOT like black holes so you need to have openings only as big as your lens. You also need to "brush in" the blind for deer. Turkeys don't mind black holes and neither to many other animals, and you don't need to brush in for turkeys.

These blinds also get very HOT in sunny areas. Many of these blinds are not very large and if you are a big person, think about where your stool and tripod are going to be as well as where you are going to put your gear bag, and how far from your vehicle you are going to hike with it!

Rudy M.---Thanks to this site, I'm learning something new all the time!

Well I am leaning towards this one. I am just using it for photography and not hunting. I am a duck hunter and already have my blinds for that. I need something portable and light and this one seems like it would do me well. Not looking to spend a lot of money. http://www.cabelas.com …exId=cat540014&hasJS=true (external link)

That's the one I got! However, it stands 78" tall and can get pretty hot inside during the summer. On the other hand, there's room inside for two persons, and I like to use a folding tri-leg stool for long-time sitting. Folding the spring-loaded blind is quite tricky, despite the illustrated instructions that comes sewn onto the accompanying pouch cover. But for $39.95 I'm not complaining.
