Common blue and Peacock

here's a common blue from yesterday morning am really happy with this shot it was early morning and the light was great and I got him backlit :D.

A peacock from a few days ago I went back on a sunny afternoon and found them nectaring and got the shot :D .

I posted a dragonfly last week and Asylumxl suggested tweeking it up a bit in photoshop heres a before and after I corrected the black white and grey in levels and sharpened it with smart sharpen

here's a meadow brown from before that I tweeked a bit with levels not too much as they are quite delicatley coloured anyway

Thanks Rick, bernie Brian and Ben :D I was especially pleased with the first common blue photo as it was very windy and there was not much about so was pleased to come home with this shot

Stunning butterfly shots - #1 is wonderful. The peacock shot is fabulous too, showing off all those colours perfectly. A great set of shots.

The common blue is first class, and so is the meadow brown. The peacock is beautiful but the way you've shot it square on and filled the frame with it makes it look a little like a text book image for identification. I suggest pulling back just a little to get some environment in the shot to add interest.
