My first attempt. OK? There is a tall building behind this shot. I'm going to try and get on the roof or at least a few floors up.

I used CombineZM and combined an underexposed -2 and overexposed +2 shot. Did some adjustments with the macro and presto. I couldn't seem to get any good results from Photomatrix but may try again.
