This is the first time I’ve seen this in the CS2 raw plugin. Anyone have any idea what the asterisks below the thumbnail mean? Sorry if this question has been previously asked.

It's a rating. You apply them manually to help you sort images. Control-1 thru control-5 marks them.

Thanks for the reply Tim. I will try to use your grading system
"My system is 1=unusable for a technical reason, 2=duplicate image or not worth showing, 3=good image, 4=image that will probably go into an album, 5=image that will go into my portfolio. You can use any system you like"
