Coryphantha elephantidens

This is anther one of the stacks that I reclaimed from my hard drive crash. Native to Mexico, Coryphantha elephantidens is a spider mite magnet. Usually it is the first plant to get attacked in my greenhouse, Usually in winter when the dry heated air is to the mite's liking.

Your are right, Bill. The color is alot better when you actually attach the image. I get rather addled when I try to hurry things and do silly things like forget to post the image.

A polarizer helps pull out the delicacy of the colors by cutting the glare. This is particularly important when the flowers have a sheen.
