ok, well... it's the greatest place on earth to me at least. It's gorgeous and has the most beautiful landscapes. In this one province, we have enormous mountains, thick wooded forests, rolling foothills, flat prairie lands, dry hot deserts, rivers with water so clean you can drink right out of it, and even some beaches with the softest sand I've ever walked on. (And I've been to Cuba, Jamaica, and Mexico)

For this wedding I got to shoot in the foothills, flat prairie farmland, and mountains all in ONE day. I thought I was on vacation or something! ok enough of me blabbing....

9. Such a cute little thing she is. Who would guess she's in her mid 30's?

As usual these are terrific! I have to ask What lens did you use in #3 & #8. Great Shot. I wish New Jersey was known for more than Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. Maybe scenery like THAT!!!!

Lloyd, absolutely amazing shots! Totally breathtaking. I'd like to comment on a per-picture basis, but it'd all say the same thing "Wow".

What cross-processing method/action do you use, if you don't mind?

Well, Alberta is only known for oil, beef and wheat really. It's one of canada's best secrets. :)

For 3 and 8 I used the canon 10-22. One of my most favourite lenses for sure.

It's funny, the 1DIII handles all the boring shots, but I always go back to my 20 and 30D to get all the interesting shots. Telephoto, ultra wide, and macro are all done on my 1.6 crop bodies. So ironically, most of my formals are always shot with my 'cheap' bodies.

yeah, it was a bright day for sure. Yes, there are traces of harsh shadows. Just use flash to help minimize them I guess.

.

Many of them have colour altering processing done to them. And on hot days like that I like to balance a bit on the warm side, and then a bit on the cool side in the evening. Which ones are you referring to. Maybe I did screw them up...??

I use the David Jay actions that come with ShowitEffects. One is called Punched and the other is called Cross Process. One makes the scene warm, the other makes it cold. I like them both. For example, 2 uses Punched, and 7, 8 use Cross Process.

cheers y'all! :D

Lloyd, these are beautiful! I could SWEAR I've been to the ceremony location but can't recall for the life of me where it's at - whereabouts were all these locations?
