Hey Alan. Good to 'see' you

I like the quotes you have used in the past. I smile when I see your current one too, it seems to suit you down to the ground ;)

Vineyards? Ohhhhh... we must come to take photos, and drink wine, and chocolate.. well... okay then.... But alas... I seem to fall in 5th place on the list of invited guests..... Suppose I'll pass, as I like to be closer to the top... Darn.. I wanted to photograph the vineyards too... :(

By no means was that in any specific order...LOL I'll take you gals as you take the bait, I mean invite to...yeah, photograph vineyards ;) yeah...but Lonnie has dibs, so I'll have to wait until you guys are done visiting with him...to quote Quagmire from Family Guy, "Giggety, giggety, goo!";):p

Stock up! :) You're a hop skip and jump away.. I just might bump into you on my next trip home... (Orange County) and red wine will definitely be in order.. chocolate is optional. :)

Woohoo! I can't wait...

What part of Orange County? When I was in Kindergarten we lived in Anaheim, within walking distance of Disneyland. I still go back there (to Disneyland, not our old house) a lot. Just went there today, even.

My mother lived in Trabuco Canyon, near Mission Viejo, for several years until she moved to Florida a couple years ago.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Okay... so this is weird because I grew up in Anaheim... my old neighborhood is like the getto now, but... well it wasn't that way back then... I moved to Tustin when I got married... Irvine was high on my list of places to end up, but it was a little too pricey.. South County was booming when we moved to Arizona... I miss the beach mostly.. I used to love to just go and watch the waves and sit.... and rollerblade with my girlfriend... I miss her too. :(

Sounds like Ronald Reagan to me.

My quote was something that I read that made me realize that since I've taken up photography, I see things that I never would have noticed before, things that most people pass by.

Too obvious huh?

Thought I would try one that is more fun.
This one is written on the cork of a very nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from...........drum roll please............ Aquinas Vineyards in Napa Valley

Mine is pretty self-explanatory.

A fuzzy image that tells a story beats out the sharpest image of a flower, your kitty, your 3-year-old, or any snappish photo.

Mine is in response to the propensity to clone out everything in a photo. I can visualize someone coming upon somewhere they saw a photo of and not recognizing it because there were actually trees there, whereas in the photo there were not. Something about recording places, events, etc... and then arbitrarily changing them that does not sit well with me.

Self-explanatory.

Dang - thats necropostia (like necrophilia but with posts)!

This post had quite happily died a natural death but someone had to bring the paddles to it.
