hey all, newbie to the site, just picked up a 400D twin lens kit not long ago and have been loving every moment with it! heres a night shot i took last night, any comments and tips welcome!

I like it a lot. A question: would it have been even better with a tad less exposure? The white light highlights are very hot (burned out), but of course, some of that is probably unavoidable in a night shot. Just asking. A B&W guy in an RGB world!

I love the multiple colors reflected in the water. The photo could be sharpened up. How long was this exposure for? Step back please... I'm armed with a camera...

If you are able to take this shot over take it just before it really turns dark about 1 hr or so after sunset here in the states. and you may be able to get a blue sky instead of blank empty sky depending on which way you were facing. my 2cts Kajun Rule #1-Never try to teach a pig to sing.....It wastes your time and it annoys the pig.
