Chives in bloom

A simple flower head from my chives plant. I think quite beautiful. Makes a change from Hoverflies too.

Adrian, I don't mind black with certain colours, I find it not to my taste with vivids for example.

Linda, I find shooting flowers quite a stress buster.

I'm sure there is a Hoverfly just about to pop out.

Thanks Brian, I like the unobtrusiveness of it myself (Heck... that's a long word for me).

Love the simplicity Alby. Wonderful shots. I think the #1 flows beautifully and great details in the whites. A brief thought, try cropping 1/3 -1/2 of the blank space above the flower.

Thanks Irwin, I did think about cropping to be honest but I seemed to prefer the composition the space created.
