Well worth the effort...........up at 4am,70minute drive,15minute hike, nettle stings, thorn scratches, slide down an embankment on my backside ending knee deep in water. Then on finding a possible perching place had to build a hide out of branches, coffee ran out,no brekky or lunch.Did i enjoy it ? you bet, every minute.

Thanks for the comments guys,
Used lightroom.........to crop, + temp, - exposure, sharpened and export.
The background was pretty dark with both banks lined with trees overhanging the river.Need to get exposure better next time.
Original of No5 below..... resized and exported as JPG in lightroom.

The 1st shot is pretty soft. 2,3 and 5 are real keepers though.

What camera and lens, Carlton?

Personally I don't think LR does a very good job in bringing out fine detail.

Didn't know it killed Exif as well..!

;)

Sounds like my kind of fun! :D

BTW Lightroom doesn't kill EXIF (I use it and all my EXIF is intact)...the way you save for web can kill it though...
