k third time trying to post this. not sure why i can't post all of the sudden.
don't know what this is but it the best inflight shot for me to date.

Super-macro people are crazy. Like the opposite of the BIF crew, just much, much smaller and closer. No, wait, we're all crazy!

Excellent captures - you are in a fairly exclusive club now with an Ichneumon wasp in flight (I'm not a member)- think I've only seen one or two shots of these in flight before.

#1 is pretty spectacular. Pin sharp, and virtually the optimum moment. I don't see how you can better this. :D

thanks Mark i just got lucky. they don't seem to be that fast for me to track like the hover or wasp.
