well it does look mean and ugly to me but it stay still long enough for me. little breezy today so i couldn't get the eyes too focus.

Hey Bill, you do have some weird bugs ;) I've never seen one of these in person......wish I could find one here :) This one looks like a Jagged Ambush Bug (Phymata).

Yep, it's a jagged ambush bug, genus Phymata. That one is a male.
