I love the second one, but not the square crop.

The waterfall is nice too, but there's far to much black. ANy chance of rescuing some detail here?

#3 and #4 are so serene. Heck, so is #2!
Love the full series, though :D

:::THUD::: My jaw just dropped to the floor. Just 100% beautiful shots. Isn't Maui just beautiful!!!! I have taken 3 trips there myself and could not capture shots like these but then again I'm just a newbie. Maybe on my 4th trip in 2 years I'll capture some better shots :)

I lived on Maui for the first part of the year, and I agree there are many photo opportunities. None of mine looked this nice thought. Very nice shots. Did you make it up to Haleakala?

I did make it to Haleakala and saw the endemic silversword which was in bloom for my visit. I have read that happens only once in 50 years. I have a picture of it on my Flickr site. I saw the state bird, the nene. Quite a view from the top. Where about did you live?

FlyingPanther - your right on the Haleakala silversword blooming only once. It grows for about 50 years, blooms, then dies. I had a few silverswords in bloom on my visit last September.
