From the past weekend at the Home Depot Center. Didn't think the Rebel XT would have gotten great shots with the kit lens, so I took the Canon IS S2 with me.

Nice shots, especially the last one.
That was quite a race at the end when Pastrana was DQ'ed.

That course looks fun! What a nice jump

Good shots, considering you use an S2

Awesome, glad to see some excellent shots from the xgames finally! Good captures

I'm disappointed ACP had to drop out so soon...
Same goes for McCrash.

Great shots with the S2. I as well have an S2 and an xt with kit lens. The S2 is pretty decent for some good all around shots. BTW that jump was pretty sick. Esp when the cars suffered damage =)

great shots, i rarely use my s2 anymore since i got my 70-200L f2.8 IS - seems like that just replaced the whole camera lol, but its one hell of a versatile little camera

love the last shot - i saw the whole event on tv..

Really nice shots, especially using the S2. I can't believe Mcrae rolled....again. It almost makes me wonder if it was on purpose to add a little "wow" factor, especially after last year's reaction from the crowd. The jump with Pastrana skying over Lageman was just awesome. Ramana is a great driver and I'm glad to see him back rallying again. Wish I could have been there!

Thanks guys! Yah..I went home and even watched the race on television because you can't really see the asphalt portion when you're sitting in the stadium/dirt part of the event..even though they show it up on the big screen.

I was also contemplating purchasing a 70-200 because I've been getting more and more into photographing motorsports, but someone said DSLR's with changeable lenses would not be allowed in. Ah well..I think the S2 did a fine job, and I don't feel as bad having it be the camera that got all dirty from everything being kicked up in the stadium. ;)
