Colour is wonderful too. I agree, you certainly need a lot of time and patience, but they are always worth it as their season is fairly short lived. I always feel very priviledged if a dragonfly comes near me or lets me get close enough to take photographs - just watching them is a pleasure even if I dont get any pics. http://lindabuckell.zenfolio.com/
