Sure it is. Why not? Should be, anyway. They buy it from Canon, they should be able to do whatever they want with it, as long as they honor the warranties and what not.

Just asking because the in UK when you buy multipack food items, it states on each individual food item "not for resale". It stops people buying the cheaper multipacks and then selling each item at full normal price.

It begs the question: why doesn't local dealers buy nothing but kits and then sell on each item, why buy body onlys?

Can't sell split up food from multi packs because they don't have the proper ingredients list/expiry dates/nutritional info etc that would be only on the outer box. That kind of thing doesn't apply to lenses.
