Can we talk about the REAL 40D yet?

OK Bestbuy obviousely has it in the system. Local Dealers have varified that they have official news from Canon, of it's release. So how about facts on specs here??

Camera suff: 40D, 100-400L, 70-200 2.8L non-is, 24-70L, nifty 50, Tokina 11-16, ex580 X2, A2 for that icky film stuff. Lights=Photogenic 1250's x2 and Norman ml400 x2.
Cars: 73 Bronco Buggy, 95 F250 PSD, 06 Liberty CRD, 49 Studebaker PU

Technically we can't because Canon hasn't "officially" announced it. Until then these topics should stay in the rumors section.

Wait until the Canon official announcement. I'd bet that it's about 10mpix ;)

It's not even that Brad,
Why on earth post another thread asking for the same speculation in EOS when there are 6 threads on the subject already with all the same talk?

Until there is an announcement, the speculation isn't going to change much. Was the feeling that by asking in this EOS suddenly someone would know the truth..

As sson as there are real specs to read up on, that info will be posted in the EOS forum.
You won't have to ask for it, it will just get posted.

I've heard from some friends in the industry that it will be 10mp and have a 3 inch screen. Obviously we'll have to wait to see if it pans out.
