Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a while, but I think it's time to start posting and getting some feedback. Photography has been a passing interest of mine for many years, but I only took the DSLR plunge about two months ago when I bought an XTi along with the 50mm f/1.8 and Sigma 17-70.
The attached picture is actually from before I bought my own camera, and was taken with a friends XT and 17-85 IS. Post processing is limited to some brightness/contrast adjustment and a slight vibrance/saturation increase. It was taken in jpeg rather than raw, so my options are somewhat limited unfortunately. Since taking this picture I've started using Lightroom and doing all my shooting in raw.
So, with all that said, what do you think? What would you have done differently? Don't hold any punches just because it's my first post
