No, I guess not. However, I am really having a good time with my new Canon EF 50mm 1.8, so I thought I would post these for fun.

I was taking a few shots of flowers when this bee happened along. Yeah, pretty heavily cropped and not up to the normal standards here, but LOL, my standards are lower until I can afford a real macro lens.

pretty good for just the 50mm- odd eyes the bee has.
If you get a set of Kenko ext tubes you coulod get over 1:1 with that lens.

Thanks Ed, I may just do that. I just got back fro a week on the East coast. I have a ton of pictures to process. I am going to be sending my camera in with both of my Sigma lenses to have the lenses calibrated to the camera. I had them calibrated once and did not send the camera with them. They cam back OK, but need to be better. There is still a back-focus problem.

When I get all of the equipment back, I may want to try those tubes.
