This photography lark is hard work ;) .......having to get up @ 5am on a bright summers morning ( which makes a change for us in the UK ), sitting / standing in the middle of knowhere for 4 hours enjoying yourself..............​.think i`m up @ 4 tomorrow.

Hmmm...got to wonder why there are no comments here 4 hours after posting?? I like both images with the swan really getting my attention for the great exposure and details in the whites and the water dripping off the bill...all on a black BG. But its the composition I especially like here with my only nit being ( maybe) a little too much space above the swan. The Kinfisher is a beauty as well and again maybe take a little off the top of the image. Nice work!

Nice captures and I agree with Gary about the swan exposure. I touch of fill flash may have brightened the Kingfisher a bit to redcue the contrast between the sunlight and shadowed portions. Still a nice shot though.
