Here's a quick example. The paper is very hard to photo – they call it Pearl and well, its like a pearl. A little glossy, kinda sparkly and very reflective. For a vacation book that sort of paper was perfect as it is going to be handled a lot. The other paper is just white 100# I believe; which I'm going to print on next. As far as how many pictures, well it all depends. You can organize them however you want in whatever size you want – place a picture on the background, fade it, then place more pictures on top of it. You can add like 20 different backgrounds and just as many frames to each photo and there are templates. For ultimate control you can just do each page as a photo and mix it up. You can have from 2 – 50 pages, each with one or up to 9 photos on each unless you just make one photo with however many pictures and just put it on the page as one.
This is a hard bound fake suede (I think). It isn't up to the quality of say, a $150 wedding book, but I think if handled well it can last many years. They also have a paperback style book but I don't have any experience with them. Hope that answers your questions. Here are a few pictures.
