In fact the Epson has two drive bays (CF and SD), whereas it appears the Giga uses a CF/SD adapter. The only thing I see is that it will show the RAW exactly as is and not use the JPG embedded thumbnail. Everything else, at least at a glance, seems to mirror what the Epson has. TeamSpeed 01010100 01010011 More info | Jan 04, 2008 14:45 | #41 You can zoom on the Raw files as well, on the P3000/5000, but you are limited to what steps izes as you are zooming the jpeg (which is sufficient for most everything I would think), so I could see the Giga being great for pixel peeping if that is what you are doing. Transfer of card content to device is a much bigger pro for the Giga if it is indeed faster than the Epson. The old Epsons were pretty slow, the new ones are decently quick, but I don't remember what the transfer rate is. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery
