28-135 IS, no duck today - just a gremlin

While at my local shop today, I saw a used 30D and just could not walk away. It just kept calling out me so I had to bring it home. Of course, being in transition back to Canon, I had to get a lens and chose the 28-135 IS to play with. I have seen in other posts, mention of a duck picture. I was not able to get a duck picture tonight so I humbly submit a couple gremlin pictures until I get the duck

Why does this keep making me laugh?

The lens looks really good. The only thing stopping me from getting a used 30D is, oh, I'd say my lack of 900 bucks.
