Here are some photos from the PSP River City Open which took place last week end near Omaha Nebraska. Temperatures were over 100 and very humid, another pleasant day at the office

My typical money shot….I have a feeling that this photo gets published many times.

Paintball is a real sport of honor….…One of the problems with playing paintball is when those pesky paintballs tend to break when they hit you. This creates a problem because if a ref sees this you are out. This LA Iron Men player at the PSP River City Open is demonstrating how the pros handle this problem (In other words how they cheat). After getting hit you run directly in to the bunker and try to wipe off the hit, and if that does not work you can always resort to the more traditional wiping on the ground as adroitly demonstrated here. Perhaps after you have finished all of this it is not a good idea to show the ref and the photographer where you were hit. :o:rolleyes::evil:

I reallly like #1. I am pretty sure the player in picture 5 plays for Miami Outkast. And of course I like B Short trying to wipe that hit.

The first one is awesome! I know nothing about paintball, but would say from that picture that the mask/goggles must have to be bloody strong!

Nice, as usual.

I'm pretty sure in that last picture the player making the bunker run is from hershey heat (sticker). No idea who the team is in the second to last photo.

Great shots Gary, you always impress. Are you going to be at KC?

Nice shots. Played in the NEPL for a couple years myself. I'm surprised to see a Dynasty player getting tagged... are they no longer the juggernaut they once were? I've been out of the game for some time.

Again, really nice photos.

They are still a great team, but not as completely dominant as they used to be. The departure of Ollie Lang to a different team was part of it, along with the increase in athleticism and skill amongst other teams.

Great shots, always laugh when half their bullets make it into the tank and the other half fall out onto the ground.

When he borrows a $4000 lens he doesn't use any protection and just blithely walks onto the field in the middle of play! :D He covers his own gear with expensive Kata raingear. But he is Pro and everyone loves him so they left my lens alone. Since then he bought his own and I see he is making great use of it!

See, even Bollan thinks you need at least one more, if not two! :p

No word on Mexico yet, eh? I am still trying to schedule something with my local paintball field guy ... I still have that wad of stickers you gave me to give to him, sigh.
