A long time ago I posted about my flash problems with my 10D (flash pops up,nothing in hot shoe,still error 05) Afterwards I read a few post with the same problem. Now I have the mark III, so I am a little more courageous and opened the flash, it appeared that a little micro switch loosened itself. A little glue and all is allright again. Not that I will use the popup flash (bought the 580 ex). I hope somebody can use this information.

Good information and thanks for the pics as well. Threads like this being available through a quick search are one of the things that POTN a great resource for any EOS owner.

Plus - as a fellow 10D owner - I am always glad to see "how to's" on my particular model.
