I've been reading the Wedding Photography forums in "lurk" mode for a few weeks now. I have to say, I'm not only impressed with the work I've seen here, I'm a little intimidated as well. :)
The tips, stories and photo sharing have been wonderful, and I just want to say thank you. This is a wonderful resource to the community, and as a "newbie", I am grateful...

Photography has been a part of my life in some way, shape or form for as long as I can remember. This is my first year shooting weddings (solo) and it's been wonderful thus far.

Any feedback, thoughts, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm still working on monitor calibration issues where the prints look good, web is another story... so if it's magenta/green/yellow/purply, that'd be good to know as well.
Thanks ~

cool couple and cool location. I would have eaten up that location with a bunch of creative shots. Looks kind of south west to me. Love the black and white wedding dress.

#1 - pretty good prep shot.
#2- groom's expression is odd.
#3 - fun candid
#4 - would have been better as a full length portrait.
#5- the best out of the group but I would have flipped the camera to be landscape and framed the couple to the right. Then we could see the location and the couple full length.

Thanks Mrs.Opie.
Yes, the location was beautiful, just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This is another one, grabbing as much landscape as possible without losing the couple (literally...) For this series of shots, we had to go hiking a little -- up a hill with a steep drop off into the neighbor's yard. He went to do the romantic dip/embrace with her, and came very close to dropping her over the side. She was pretty brave (and trusting) too!
