Didn't notice the neck and head until I was processing the pics.

Amazing stuff.
Brian, how many shots did you take for each of these stacks?

Thanks for looking and commenting :)
Guess this is the result of my flymo.
Bill and Artur- Yes they are focus stacked- about 5 shots I think- I tend to be using more and more pics in the stacks to get as much of the flower in focus as possible. Beginning to realise the drop has it's own DOF characteristics- need to fit them with an aperture :)

Alex- could be a lot of things I suspect, but this screamed ostrich (or Rhea or whatever the other type of big flightless bird is called) to me :).

I had to look a few times before I realised where the ostrich was. More beautiful droplet shots.

It's one of those once you spot it you can't help but see them things. I certainly didn't notice it when I was shooting them

Beautiful shots. I also like the cool tranquil colors of the second as well. I had to look hard to see the ostrich and didn't quite know what you were talking about. But then he just popped out at me and I can see nothing but ostrich now. ;)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
