After upgrading from a G5 to an Intel Mac (new MBP 15" with the LED screen) I'm extremely dismayed to find out that EOS utility is not supported. A major part of my work consists of tethered shooting.

If I can't run EOS utility, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Anybody have information I don't? Alternative software solutions that don't break the bank (i.e. no CaptureOne)? Anything?

Thanks!

Hey man...I've just gotten the new Macbook...not Pro...I didn't know about the LED screen. I hope it's not too big a deal, I've calibrated my monitor with Spyder2 and it looks pretty good.

Anyway, I've done 3-4 tethered shoots with EOS Utility and displaying in Lightroom and have had no problems. It took me a bit to figure out how to get them to display full screen, but no compatability issues. I don't believe the Pro version would be a problem. Have you downloaded the latest drivers from the Canon site?

Oh yeah, which camera do you have? I've got a 30D.
