My first week with the 5D....it is an amazing tool. I resized the photos... applied 1 pass of noise reduction with Define 2.0... adjusted the tones a little with an "S" curve in Photoshop and that was about it. A little hand sharpening as well.
I would print the top photo 12x18 and not think twice about it. No way could I have pulled off this shot with the 20D.

wow..nice..and I see no signs of the high ISO...that is some camera....but you have done your part with the compositions and captures...very nice!

Lovely shots Frank, especially the two Butterfly shots, love 'em! We have some very pretty butterflies floating around at the moment locally, but they're flying like 20' up in the air and not landing, no chance of getting a decent shot of them

GEEZ..... 3200 ISO never looked so good! I'm so droolign over that camera.. The things I could do with a higher ISO and some soft sunlight... **sigh** Glad you're having so much fun with it.

Thanks BE It really is something else. Being able to shoot ISO 1600 or 3200 opens up a new work for me. I shot some photos in a gym this evening... set the camera at ISO 1600 and never thought twice about it. A little noise reduction and the shots look fantastic!
