Hey guys, so ive been out shooting these little fellas the last few days and thought i would post some results. the new firmware update seems to be improving things to me!

The 5th shot does appear to be the sharpest in the group. Nice series with the 5th being my favourite.

Very nice series. #5 certainly appears to be the best capture here.

To try and help on the ID's with the obvious caveat, I think number #1 is a Willet; number #5 I'm thinking a juvenile Short billed Dowitcher But of course I stand to be corrected

I know this whole MKIII thing is a bit of a hot subject right now, but i can honestly say i saw an improvement with the new firmware update, i don't know, im still waiting to see how football season goes before i decide for sure about it.

Thanks for the comments though! #5 was definitely my fav aswell.

Good shots. I just got mine back from Canon repair and I'm hoping something is better on it.
