all canon gear..found this in my garden today...: The large elephant hawk-moth is one of the more brightly coloured moths and when fully grown has approximately 70mm wingspan..When fully grown the caterpillar moves down to the ground to pupate. It remains in this state until the following spring (around May) when it emerges as an adult moth.fingers crossed i can get that shot of it emerging..sorry about having no full body shots..ojnly had the mpe65 set up that day.,,but il see if i can take more shots tomorow if its still there
