I also can't resist taking a shot at a fly, even though I have a zillion already. They have so much detail and color to attempt to capture- it's not so often I can get it right but I keep trying.

On my monitor the fly appears a little dark- missing some of that cool green detail I'm sure you saw, and many times a macro subject can appear more pleasing when it's off center, rather than directly in the middle.

Agree with above, good shot, nice detail, as suggested try to give bugs more room in the direction they are facing to take them off centre.
