Where is the catch? It says it is new and not a refurb? Yest its body only, but most places have it for $500+. Bad reseller? What are your thoughts?

Ahh just did a search and found out. Figured it would be too good to be true. Guess I should search next time if I find a too good to be true deal :P

Thanks!

B&H or Amazon.com are excellent choices. There is not a lot of room for movement on the prices from legitimate(authorized) resellers. So if you see something that looks too good to be true, it probably is. ;)

Be glad you didn't order first then ask questions.

Nah, I always research before I buy especially on deals like that ha. I went ahead and ordered it through Dell. Got the Digital Rebel XT with kit lens for $623 shipped. Not too bad. Could have saved $40 or so ordering through B&H or Amazon, will have to shop there from now on.

Hey, they are getting better. They were below .50 a few months ago. Maybe one other person finally had a 1/2 decent experience. Seriously though. I always wondered what would happen if you bought it and just stuck with the body only passing on all the accessories like batteries. ;)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

It'll suddenly be 'out of stock' and you'll never get your camera. You'll have to call them up (if you can get through their single line 'call center') and cancel the order.
