This was my first insect macro

And i have no idea what it is. Its some sort of fly, obviously. But it have some long needle thing in front.
Anyone know?

Don't know what it is, but the shot is very nice.

Pretty good for your first insect. Would be better if you could get a bit closer and try to get the fly at a lower angle (ie more side on) - also makes it easier to identify.
Suspect it's a dance fly Empididae probably Empid sp.
