Ok I was planning to get some of those rings to revers a canon 50mm on my macro lens to get awesome close-ups but one problem:
I cannot find the rings anywhere except here (external link)
Now I just wanted to check that this is all that I need or do I need two- I was reading a thread about this and he seemed to be using two...
Living in the UK really sucks sometimes- but suppose it makes up for it in other ways

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone who has been successful doing this could help me out- I have near no idea lol

1) Can I reverse a canon 50mm 1.8 onto my canon 100mm macro?
2) will the shots be good enough to warrant all this hassle lol and buying the lens and new
rings?
3)See the link above- do I just need one of those...?
4) Is there anywhere else; perhaps based in the UK that sells these- 10days is a while lol

Thanks for ANY help

Assuming your 50mm lens is 52mm filter thread and your macro lens is 58mm thread then yes that is all you need. Sometimes you can't get the right reversing adapter and have to use it with a stepup or step down ring.
1. Yes
2. yes
3. yes
4. Not at that price

If you reverse the 50mm onto a normal reverse adaptor, you can use any filters as extension tubes, just remove the glass from them 1st. Dont throw the glass away as you can rebuild them later when needed.

I have about 30 or 40mm worth of tubes using this method, and can achieve about 3:1, which is more than enough for most people :) ...

Yes but can't find it at the moment- guess though it would cost about £30 from them.
