My first macro with flash, its a dragonfly.

I finally got around to learning how to use the external flash I bought with my Pro1. I made a diffuser from a rolled sheet of paper that extended beyond my lens.

It took me this long to get around to using the flash because I didn't know how to set it up to take a good picture, they would always come out washed out looking. But I forced myself to make an attempt and learn how to use this tool.

Here's the shot that came out best. I appreciate any critique and pointers you can give me.

While we're on the subject of dragonflies, I wanted to post a picture I took a couple days back of a dragonfly chewing with its mouth open.
