Interesting exposure control around the eyes. It's not really high key - it's just blown out, high contrast. Looks like an exposure gone horribly wrong to me.

High key should not lose detail in the image.

BTW - you'll get lots of opinions on high key. :lol:

I like it. Really there is no such thing as over or under exposed in art/experimental photography. If the exposure works for the effect that the shot was trying to achieve, then shouldn't it count as being a correct exposure?

This shot is kinda like a reverse silhouette effect. It would work PERFECTLY if the background was even more dark in comparison. Thanks for sharing man.

FYI, even though it doesn't follow the traditional high-key lighting definition, I like the shot. The contrast is what drew me in.

Let's call it a "High Contrast" image... that will work..

I would like to see a little more shadowing around his head and neck... but this is one of those artsy thing that is subjective to the viewer... so if you like it... that should settle it for you. :)
