I've been trying higher mag shots its a lot harder than I thought :D
Doesnt help its been windy every time I go out !
Taken with Sigma 105 with full set of jessops tubes
Think its about about 2 : 1 200 F7.1 -1/3 exp comp asa 800 natural light.

I took some flash shots too but they were too crap to post !
Have not got the hang of using flash with the tubes yet the shots have been over exposed using flash at + 1/3 to 1 exp comp did not get another chance the wind got up even more.
I will try again with flash I realise I need to use flash to get the depth of field.
I will try 0 to - 1 exp comp
(Ex 430 flash soft box diffuser)

Lovely shot Pete :)
I hope you are using FEC to tone down the flash and not EC ?
I've found with my rigs that each one needs a different average FEC setting on the flash which takes care of most shots but you may still need to vary that FEC value by upto + or - 1 depending on the background (light background +1 and dark background or no background -1 FEC)

Great shot Pete.

You have my sympathy when shooting in the wind. I struggle with 1:1 at the moment. Sometime it feels like its a fairground game. Hit the shutter at the right moment and you get a prize. :D

Super shot Pete. Well done. I'm thinking of getting a MP-E65, soon if I win the lottery.
