General Feedback on Lens Mate European Orders

Would anyone from Europe who has ordered from Lens Mate like to share their delivery experience?

I'm very keen to get the tiffin wide and telephoto lens' for my G5 but due to the delivery distance involved (to Ireland) and the fragile nature of the goods, I'm a little nervous about spending my money.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks

1 word........Excellent

I ordered a adaptor tube and a few bits and pieces on a Thursday afternoon ( 2 weeks ago), the next Tuesday, I had a nicely wrapped parcel with plenty of bubble wrap to open.

Could not fault the service, and therefore would not hessitate in recommending them.

Im based in the UK so in a similar position to you

I ordered 2 adapters and some filters last year and recieved them in a few weeks, safely packaged. The package even made it past customs so I didn't have to pay import taxes :)

I'm in Denmark by the way.

Hi Paul
Like you I'm based in Ireland and had no problems last year when I ordered from Lensmate. Surprisingly I was not charged any duty either. I've just ordered a Pro1 and won't hesitate to order again from Lensmate - although they only have a lens cap at the moment.
Where in Ireland are you? I'm in Kerry.

Thanks for the information guys, I feel a little happier now to go ahead and order.

Bill,
I'm from Dublin originally but I've recently moved down to Tramore and really pleased I did so, as I'm sure you'll agree, when the sun shines there's nowhere more beautiful than the Irish countyside.

I have recently bought a Wide Angle Converter for my G3 and paid £89 from Amazon.

Can you please give me a link (for the future) to this European Lensmate Site.

Here's the link

http://www.lensmateonline.com/ (external link)

they're based in the US though, not Europe, which is why I was asking people for some feedback on their delivery record with orders for Europe.
