Heres a couple of images I shot in Mexico a several years ago. I always kinda liked'm. Doing street photography with a 500 C/M can be exhusting. These were shot from 5X5 prints (scanners down) so of course the prints look allot nicer. I no longer have the negs.

Both shots are great, with those natural expressions. I love the second shot- Perfect in every way. I love the expression on both boys faces. Priceless!! Wonderful photo!!

Are you still using the Hasselblad? It is a marvellous camera. But agreed, a bit large and slow for impromptu street shots. They are very nice images... The 2nd one looks a bit grey in my opinion ( or maybe that's my monitor.-..)

No. I don't have them anymore. I'm thinking of picking one up again though. Scanners down and I just layed the 5X5s on the desk and shot them. Should'a worked on'm a bit more in photoshop.

500 C/M for street photography? Must have been unwieldy a bit. Great captures, those smiles are priceless.

Love the first one in particular! Second one seems a bit soft, but maybe that was intended.

Thanks Ken the print on #2 has just some slight movement but the copy isn't very good (sorry) 5X5 mat print (proof actually). I no longer have the neg. I lost over 20 years of work :cry:(THOUSANDS of negs and transes) a few years ago (long story) thats why I'm so nuts about having a set of raws off site in a very safe place. ;)

I understand how that sort of thing could make you a bit paranoid. :)
