I haven't been out for a while but finally had a chance to get out and was lucky enough to see this samoan flying fox hanging around. Been trying for about a year to find one that would cooperate for me. Just wish I could have gotten closer.

Aug 15, 2007 23:15 | #6 Thanks. I shot this with my 100-400 at 400mm. Still not quite enough reach as he/she was up quite high in the tree. They fly around my house close to dusk but I haven't even come close to catching one in flight. Canon EOS 20D
