Lovely shots Alistair. I like #2 best, background is super. Also like the refractions in the water drops in #1.

i like #1 the best; the darker background is great for the spider, and the greenish hue all around is very nice.

I like #2. The only thing that spoils #1 for me is the fact that the legs are not quite focus, yet the rest of the web is. May be just me, but I keep thinking my eyes have gone funny. :confused:

The green background gives a great atmosphere to the pictures. Well done.

Good shots- like both of them. I always find the composition of spiders in their webs is very difficult (eg off centre vs centred vs angled).
